Themed Meetings
Themed meetings are what make the gavel meetings more exciting and colorful. Usually, the Toastmasters come up with a theme for each meeting. On special occasions, however, the themed meetings take a novel approach. The Gavel Club of the University of Colombo recently had a squid game-themed meeting for Halloween and a winter wonderland-themed meeting for Christmas. Themed meetings never fail to give a memorable experience to all participants.
Joint Meetings
The joint meetings are the special occasions where the Gavel Club of University of Colombo partners up with other Gavel Clubs for meetings both from other universities as well as schools. These are the ideal opportunities to meet new friends and step out of your comfort zones to explore your hidden skills.
