ENLIVEN 2023 is the most awaited, fourth installment of the one and only island-wide Humorous Speech and Evaluation competition, organized by the Gavel Club of the University of Colombo.
While Humorous speech attracts the most participants, owing to the natural flow of humor within a person, it is also during this that one gets the opportunity to present hilarity to the audience through actions, words, delivery, and analysis of speech and its makers. The Speech Evaluation portion also has its importance in analyzing one’s communication skills in a comprehensive range with a hint of creativity.
Enliven Timeline
We will be having 3 rounds namely preliminary rounds, semi-finals, and finals.
During the preliminary rounds (online),
- Humorous Category: contestants from both categories will be submitting 5-7 minutes humorous videos via a Google form. We will be closing the submissions on 22.05.2023
- Evaluation Category: contestants will be competing online via Zoom on 20.05.2023 and/or 21.05.2023
- Registrations will be closing on the 16th of May, 2023
- Semi-finals (Onsite) – 10th June 2023
- Finals (Onsite) – 24th June 2023
